Hijiribashi Bridge, Ochanomizu

The arched concrete bridge on the key visual, seen from the Ochanomizu platforms across the Kanda river valley.

A 1927 arched concrete bridge spanning the Kanda river valley beside Ochanomizu station, with the Marunouchi line emerging from a tunnel below it. It is on the film's key visual, and it is the point where the Tokyo section of the story takes place.

Pourquoi ça vaut le détour

You can see it from the station platform without leaving the ticket gates, and the view of the trains crossing the valley is worth the stop on its own.

Quand y aller

Normal commuter traffic.

Bon à savoir

Photograph from the platform or from the neighbouring Ochanomizu bridge — standing on Hijiribashi itself does not give you the view from the film. Akihabara is one stop away.
