A tidal-flat park on the Ariake Sea south of Saga city. The 340-metre Kingdom seawall runs along it, and the mudflats themselves are a local attraction.
Kyushu Saga International Airport
The prefecture's airport, redecorated as Saga Kingdom Airport with a free exhibition on the third floor.
Furuyu Onsen
A small hot spring town in the hills north of Saga city, known for unusually low-temperature baths you can soak in for a long time.
Karatsu
A castle town on the Genkai Sea, about 70 minutes from Fukuoka. The model for Hasetsu, and the official pilgrimage map is handed out at the station.
