The Nami statue stands at Moe no Sato, a roadside exchange hall on the Tawarayama mountain road in Nishihara village, with a wide view back over the plain. The village was badly damaged in 2016.
Why it is worth it
The view from here is the best of any of the ten statue sites.
When to go
Quiet.
Good to know
Mountain road access, car only, free parking. The hall sells local produce and is a reasonable lunch stop on the circuit.
