The Jinbe statue was the tenth and final one, unveiled in 2022, completing the crew. It stands in Sumiyoshi Coast Park on the Ariake Sea, which is a fitting placement for the fish-man helmsman.
Why it is worth it
It completes the set, and the coastline it faces is one of the better sunset spots near Kumamoto.
When to go
Quiet.
Good to know
It is southwest of the city, in the opposite direction from the Aso statues, so do it on a different half-day rather than trying to combine the two.
