Free! Iwatobi Swim Club

A fishing town in Tottori that has kept the collaboration running for over a decade.

Free! is set in **Iwami**, a small coastal town in Tottori on the **Uradome coast** — a 15km stretch of clear water, white sand and rock formations designated a national scenic beauty. Iwami Station is the model for Iwatobi Station, Tago Shrine sits on the rocks above the sea, and the town has run official collaborations, stamp rallies and merchandise for over a decade through its tourist information office. It is remote — Tottori is one of the least-visited prefectures in Japan — which is exactly why the coast is as empty and clear as it looks in the show.
