秩父從池袋搭直達車80分鐘，是東京出發的山區一日遊中最輕鬆的一類。先在西武秩父站前的觀光服務處領取免費的巡禮地圖，再走到舊秩父橋——那是橫跨荒川的三連拱保存橋，也是片頭的地點。接著折回鎮上前往定林寺，繪馬架上塞滿了十年以上訪客留下的繪馬。最後在車站附設的溫泉收尾。
