The largest fan-created works event on earth. Everything a first-time overseas attendee needs to know.
Entry is no longer free
Since 2023, entry requires a paid wristband ticket bought in advance. There is no free general admission. Overseas visitors can buy tickets and the official site publishes English-language information. Buy as soon as sales open — do not plan to sort it out after you arrive.
The shape of the day
Leave your hotel by 05:00. The outdoor queue forms from around 06:00. Doors open at 10:30 and entry is staged by queue block, so your actual entry time depends on where you were placed. Popular circles sell out within the first hour. From 13:00 the halls thin out. Close is 16:00.
What to bring
More small bills than you think you need — many circles are cash only and cannot break large notes. A sturdy tote plus a backpack, because doujinshi are paper and paper is heavy. August: hat, cooling towel, electrolyte drinks, and take the heat seriously. December: proper layers, the queue is outdoors. A portable battery — mobile networks saturate on site.
Where to stay
Book on the Rinkai line or the Yurikamome line, months in advance. Ariake, Odaiba, Shinagawa and Toyosu are the practical zones. Rates rise sharply during Comiket and rooms disappear early. Do not book somewhere requiring two transfers at 05:30.
Etiquette
Follow staff instructions immediately and without argument — the event runs on volunteer stewarding. Do not photograph people without asking; cosplay areas have designated zones and their own rules. Never run in any hall. Have your money ready before you reach the front of a circle queue. Move away from the table before inspecting your purchase.

Comiket可以免費入場嗎？
現在不行。自2023年起，入場需要事先購買的付費手環型參加證，沒有免費的一般入場。海外參加者也可購買，官方網站設有英文說明。
Comiket應該幾點到？
若目標是人氣社團，請在5時前離開飯店。戶外排隊隊伍約從6時開始形成，10:30開場，人氣社團在第一個小時內就會完售。如果只是想看氣氛而非特定作品，13時之後會舒服得多。
Comiket期間該住哪裡？
請在數個月前預訂臨海線或百合海鷗號沿線。有明、台場、品川、豐洲都是現實的選擇。這一帶在Comiket期間房價會飆升，房間也很快訂完。請避開清晨5點半還得轉兩次車的地方。
