A temple reached by a steep stone stairway at the edge of the preservation district, with Fumeikaku — a small raised wooden hall built out over the slope — above it. The open platform looks back down over the tiled roofs of the old town, and it appears in the series.

It is the view of Takehara, it is free, and almost nobody climbs up to it.
