Kamo River Delta
The point where two rivers meet, with stepping stones across it. Five minutes from the arcade.
The triangular point where the Kamo and Takano rivers meet, with turtle-shaped stepping stones crossing both channels. Students sit on the bank here through the year, and it appears in the series alongside the arcade.
Why it is worth it
It is the best free thing to do in northern Kyoto, and it is three minutes from the arcade, so the two make one stop.
When to go
Busy in the evening and in cherry blossom season.
Good to know
Buy something at the arcade or the mochi shop nearby and eat it on the bank. That is what everyone else is doing.
