Half day
Kawagoe Half Day: Tsuki ga Kirei
The warehouse street, the bell tower and the shrine, 30 minutes from Ikebukuro.
Kawagoe is the easiest pilgrimage on this site to bring non-fans on, because it is one of the best day trips from Tokyo regardless. The series draws the warehouse-lined main street, the bell tower behind it and Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine to the north closely enough to navigate by. Go on a weekday morning — at weekends the main street is shoulder to shoulder — and leave time for the candy alley of old confectioners running off the side.
