Keihan Uji Station
The station that opens the series, two minutes from Uji Bridge.
A distinctive station building with a curved roof at the end of the Keihan Uji line. It opens the series, with the protagonist walking out of it toward the bridge, and the Keihan line has run repeated collaborations with the show.
Why it is worth it
You will arrive through it anyway if you come from Kyoto on the Keihan line, so it costs nothing to see.
When to go
Normal commuter traffic.
Good to know
Coming from Kyoto Station, JR Uji is the faster route but Keihan Uji is the one from the series. Keihan runs seasonal collaboration campaigns — check their site if you want the wrapped train.
