Jorinji Temple
The temple that stands in for the group's secret base. Fan-painted ema fill the racks, and the temple sells series ema.
Temple 17 of the Chichibu 34-temple pilgrimage circuit, a small quiet temple in a residential area. It is used as the group's meeting place in the series, and the ema racks are filled with hand-drawn plaques left by visitors over more than a decade.
Why it is worth it
The accumulated ema are the thing to see — a physical record of how long people have been coming here.

Quiet.
Good to know
It is an active temple on a pilgrimage circuit, with people visiting to pray rather than to sightsee. Keep it quiet, and buy the ema from the temple office if you want to leave one.
