Harbour View Park
The park on the hill where the two organisations meet. Rose gardens, and the whole harbour below.
A hilltop park on the Yamate bluff above the harbour, with rose gardens and Western-style residences from the foreign settlement era around it. It is used in the series as the meeting place between the detective agency and the Port Mafia.
Why it is worth it
It is the high point of the walk in both senses, and the view over the bay at dusk is the reason people come regardless of the series.
When to go
Busy in the rose seasons (May and October).
Good to know
The climb from Yamashita Park is short but steep. Do it last, at dusk, and come back down through Motomachi.
