Tokyo Big Sight
The venue for Comiket and most major anime conventions in Tokyo.
Tokyo Big Sight is the convention centre that hosts Comiket twice a year, along with AnimeJapan, Wonder Festival, Tokyo Game Show overflow events and countless smaller doujin events. The distinctive inverted pyramid conference tower is visible from the monorail.
Why it is worth it
Comiket is the largest fan event on earth, with roughly half a million attendees over its run, and entry is open to overseas visitors.

When to go
On Comiket days the surrounding trains are at absolute capacity from 06:00. On non-event days the area is empty.
Good to know
On event days, book a hotel near the Rinkai or Yurikamome lines and leave before 06:00.
