A plaza on the pedestrian deck outside Oizumi-Gakuen station, marking the district as the birthplace of Japanese animation production. It holds life-size bronze statues of Astro Boy, Joe Yabuki from Tomorrow's Joe, Tetsuro and Maetel from Galaxy Express 999, and Lum from Urusei Yatsura.

Why it is worth it

It is free, outdoors and open at any hour, and it is right outside the station you use for the Toei museum — so the two are one trip.
