Detective Conan
An entire town in Tottori renamed itself around the series.
Gosho Aoyama is from Hokuei in Tottori, and the town has committed to it completely. The local station is signposted as Conan Station, the road leading from it is Conan Street, lined with bronze statues of the characters, and at the end sits the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory with original artwork and recreations of his workspace. Tottori is remote by Japanese standards — this is not a side trip from Tokyo — but for anyone already travelling the San-in coast it is the most thoroughly committed anime town in the country.
